Thrillers for Giants and A's force Game 4's

 

 

 

Baseball junkies and those that love a great pitcher's duel had to be in heaven on Tuesday, as both the Giants and the A's played tense, nail-biters. Both Bay Area teams extended their seasons with tight wins and force today's Game 4's

OAKLAND ATHLETICS FORCE A GAME 4 IN THEIR DIVISIONAL PLAYOFF WITH DETROIT

 

The Oakland A's got a gem from starter Brett Anderson to knock off the Detroit Tigers 2-0. Anderson pitched six innings of two-hit shut-out baseball and Yoenis Cespedes and Seth Smith delivered big hits as the A's force a Game 4 tonight. Coco Crisp had the defensive play of the game. He robbed Prince Fielder of a solo home run in the second inning and it set the tone for a great defensive game for the A's. Oakland hosts tonight's Game 4 at 6:30
