Thrillers for Giants and A's force Game 4's


 

 

 

Baseball junkies and those that love a great pitcher's duel had to be in heaven on Tuesday, as both the Giants and the A's played tense, nail-biters. Both Bay Area teams extended their seasons with tight wins and force today's Game 4's

IF THE GIANTS COME BACK TO WIN THIS SERIES

 

The Giants will play at 1:05pm against Cincinnati. San Francisco sends 14-game winner Barry Zito to the mound while the Reds counter with Mike Leake, who was added to the roster this morning after Johnny Cueto was removed because of his oblique strain. 101.7 FM and AM 1340 has the pre-game at 12:35pm

 

 

COCO CRISP ROBS PRINCE FIELDER OF A HOME RUN IN THE SECOND INNING AS THE 

OAKLAND ATHLETICS FORCE A GAME 4 IN THEIR DIVISIONAL PLAYOFF WITH DETROIT

 

The Oakland A's got a gem from starter Brett Anderson to knock off the Detroit Tigers 2-0. Anderson pitched six innings of two-hit shut-out baseball and Yoenis Cespedes and Seth Smith delivered big hits as the A's force a Game 4 tonight. Coco Crisp had the defensive play of the game. He robbed Prince Fielder of a solo home run in the second inning and it set the tone for a great defensive game for the A's. Oakland hosts tonight's Game 4 at 6:30
