An apparent walk out as Oroville City Leaders were trying to cut the budget. Three members of the Oroville City Council reportedly left the meeting this week. According to Councilman Dave Pittman, councilors were busy going through each department looking for their 18 percent cut. When it came to the Fire Department, the Fire Chief offered to step down to help save money. Pittman says the council suddenly found itself short handed. Pittman says the council is still looking to cut 380 thousand dollars to help balance the budget. It will meet again on July First to continue the process.
