Congressman Garamendi to Examine Fire Damage at Beale

A California Congressman is heading to Beale Air Force Base today to inspect the damage caused by a recent fire. The fire last week caused an estimated $10-20 million in damage to the civil engineering building at Beale. Congressman John Garamendi and staff members from the offices of Senators Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer will also inspect the damage. Garamendi says he's working with Beale officials and the Department of Defense to secure the money needed to rebuild the facility.
