A Dozen Billboards Go Up in Chico; Group says it Wants Non-Religious to Know They Aren't Alone

A dozen billboards have recently gone up in Chico, marking the formal launch of a coalition of atheist and agnostic groups. The billboards read "Don't Believe in God? Join the Club."  The local coordinator of the new Butte County Coalition of Reason said in a statement that its time they were "equally free to be open" about their views.  The group says the billboards are part of a nationwide awareness campaign designed to let non-religious people know "they aren't alone."
