Man Arrested for Red Bluff Assault

A Tehama County man is behind bars for allegedly attacking a 74 year old man because of his age.   The Red Bluff Police Department says 32 year old Russell Rodgers reportedly slammed a Burger King bathroom stall door in the face of the elderly victim Monday.   According to the victim, the suspect said "that is what I do to old people."   Rodgers was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and elder abuse.
