Vina Helitack Base has New Hoist Rescue System for Helicopter

Cal-Fire says a new rescue system is now in place for the helicopter at the Vina Helitack Base.  Cal-Fire spokesman Kevin Colburn says rescuers will be able to hoist people up to the helicopter instead of having them suspended underneath the aircraft.   Cal-Fire says the agency is in the process of buying hoists for all of its helicopters.  Vina is the 3rd helitack base to receive the rescue system.
