Two early morning stabbings reported in Chico...one was fatal. Chico Police Chief Kirk Trostle says a 30 year old woman was arrested following a deadly assault just before 1 AM on West Sacramento Avenue. Shanda Mollison has been booked into the county jail on suspicion of murder.
Meanwhile, Chico Police say the 2nd stabbing happened on Magnolia Avenue around 3:30 AM. Officers say the 22 year old victim went home to find a man in his living room. He confronted the suspect and was stabbed repeatedly in the arm. The suspect took off and was not located.
