BCSO Identifies Chico Murder Victim

The Butte County Sheriff's Office says its still investigating the motive in a Chico murder.  56 year old Donna Teifer was found dead inside a Hampshire Drive home Tuesday after she failed to show up for work and her employer asked deputies to check on her.   The Sheriff's Office says Teifer was "suffering from injuries" that indicated she was the victim of a homicide.  Her son, 29 year old Adam Jacob, was arrested for murder and booked into the county jail.    An autopsy is set for later this week.
