Glenn County Resident Dies from West Nile


A Glenn County man has died from the West Nile Virus. The Chico ER reports the elderly man was already in poor health and contracted West Nile fever.  He died last week.  So far there have been six human cases of West Nile in Glenn County this year.  Meanwhile, Tehama County health officials are reporting their first human case of West Nile for 2012.  The Health Department said Monday the person was hospitalized, but is now recovering at home.
