THREE OF THE GUYS IN THIS PICTURE BETTER START HITTING OR ELSE........
The joy and happiness of Tuesday's Giants win in Game 3 of their National League Divisional Playoff game in Cincinnati shouldn't mask the fact that the Giants are not hitting. While the game three win was nice, if these Giants don't start hitting, and hitting soon, the season will end.
San Francisco has managed just 5 hits in the last 19 innings of baseball. On top of that Angel Pagan, Marco Scutaro and Hunter Pence are a combined 3-for-36. They are all 1-for-12. While the Reds pitching has contributed to the sub-par numbers, the Giants have got to take better at-bats and find ways to get on base. It is contingent on these hitters, which surround both Pablo Sandoval and Buster Posey in the line-up, to find ways to get on base.
Game 3 was great, but if these three guys don't hit....there will not be a Game 5.
